  • It's out. My first short story. It's erotic and horrific and oh so very perfect for this time of year. So many great authors went into the making of this anthology and all the proceeds go to help the American Diabetes Association. As someone who came very close (last April) to being diagnosed and who had to live with the scare, this is a worthy cause and it was a joy to participate in. I hope you will join me in supporting Coming Together and add some scary fun to your November.

In talking about our new book release, I got the chance to visit with fellow author Lynn Townsend.

    1. What inspired you to write erotica?

I've been writing for a very long time now. I started my first poem in first grade, and wrote my first short story in fifth grade. During college, I took Creative Writing classes... but my first love was fantasy/horror/sci-fi. And I wrote those instead. However, it seems that in retrospect, I was always writing love stories, just set in a sci-fi, or fantasy, or horror setting. And then I was going back, when I was done, and removing all the sex, most of the romance, and hating it. I had a perfectly good peacock here, I was ripping all the feathers off it, calling it an eagle and trying to figure out why the damn thing wouldn't fly.

But I think I really got pointed in the right direction when a friend of mine was making fun of slash fiction. "Here's what I don't get... there's this whole subculture of women, writing stories about men having sex with other men, mainly for other women." And I thought, "There is? Really? How come I haven't heard about this? Where? Let me see!"

    2. Tell us a little about what inspired your story in Hungry for Love.

I love Zombies. One of my favorite movies, ever ever, is Shaun of the Dead. I actually have a collection of Zombie themed music; (Zombie Prostitute by Voltaire, Re: Your Brains, by Jonathon Coulton, The Dead Crawl from the Earth Alive by Jonah Knight are some good examples). As for the specific story, I saw a Facebook post that said "Buy a boat! Zombies Can't Swim."

I did have an interesting adventure while writing it; I've had a bit of a phobia about guns for a long time. And when I was writing the scene where Paige is shooting a deader, it just wasn't coming out well. So I called a friend of mine who likes to go to the shooting range and I had her take me down and teach me how to fire a gun.

    3. Open your story to any page and give us a snapshot of what is happening.

Paige is staring out at the coastal waters, somewhere in Virginia. She's wearing long pants and dying from the heat - Virginia is unpleasant in the late summer, really. Mosquitoes and humidity, even at night. She's looking through binoculars, keeping an eye out for deaders along the shore.

     4. Your main character wants to go out to dinner. Set the scene.

Even before the zombie outbreak, Paige never was the type of girl who wanted to be wined and dined. She's more of a "get Chinese take out and eat out of the boxes while watching movies on television." She's been working on a charter fishing boat for the last several years, though, so she's not big on seafood.

    5. What are your favorite types of characters to write about?

I don't know if I have a particular character type, although most of my characters tend to have messed up or dysfunctional families. I grew up in an uncomfortably estranged household and I've never quite managed to write a convincing loving family.

    6. Pepperoni pizza or sushi?

Yes? I love sushi; particularly eel. I have to be careful, tho. Both my husband and my daughter are allergic to shellfish.

    7. Beer, martini or mineral water?

Definitely beer. And good beer, mind you, not that cheap American crap. Except Sam Adam's, sometimes. My current favorites are Monty Python Holy GrAle, Abt. 12, and Newcastle Brown. There's a really good German restaurant down in Portsmouth, the Biergarten and we go there fairly regularly. They have over 300 beers, and I'm always having fun trying to find something new to drink.

    8. What are your current writing projects?

    Oh dear god.

I'm finishing up a holiday piece called Christmas Miracle. I'm going to miss the deadline for a femme fatal piece - I've had an abundance of real life getting in the way, but I think I may expand on that idea... In the background, I have some longer pieces; a vampire steampunk three-some, a straight-up steampunk romance, a college-age m/m, and a possible piece of lit-fic. I've always got something going on... usually just too much to ever get done at one time. I've also got about half a dozen shorts floating around that haven't been finished yet.

    9. What is your favorite kind of erotica? Fantasy, horror, BDSM...

Honestly, I'm a little odd. I like something that makes me laugh. Sex is enjoyable. And I don't want to read sex that takes itself too seriously. It's one of the reasons that I really wanted to work on this antho; I adore Sommer Marsden. She makes me laugh. So, really, genre doesn't matter. I tend to steer away from too much pain; I'm a horrible wimp. I will stop sex in the middle of things because my partner is leaning on my hair.

    10. What are some of your hobbies when you are not writing wonderful
    smutterific things to read?

Well, I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek. I love summer action movies. I like Star Wars, Star Trek, and Firefly. That kind of stuff.

I'm almost always reading something - usually two or three somethings, honestly. Right now I'm reading one of the Longmire mysteries, re-reading a David Eddings novel, and flipping through the stories in Hungry For Love. Oh, and I'm reading a romance, Your Scandalous Ways.

I like role-playing games - the kind with paper and dice, I mean. I'm currently playing Star Wars, the Old Republic as my MMO, although up until recently, I'd been playing Warcraft for... oh... (((eight years)))

I'm also a bit of an audiophile. I have something close to 30,000 mp3s. I go to estate sales and yard sales and thrift stores and buy boxes of CDs, just to have something new to listen to. I'm particularly fond of filk and geek music. Jonathon Coulton, Jonah Knight, Mikey Mason, that sort of thing.

This is my current publications and

Unmasked by Paige Tyler: A Halloween Spanking Party

When Tabitha Buckley gets a chance to go to the hottest Halloween costume party in L.A., she can’t turn it down, especially since the coworker she’s been lusting after is going to be there. And since she knows he’ll be dressed as the phantom of Venice, he should be easy to find. What Tabitha doesn’t know is that this isn’t the average costume party—it’s a spanking party!

But there’s more than one phantom of Venice at the party. Tabitha decides the best way to figure out which masked hunk is her coworker is to let each phantom spank her until she finds the man she’s looking for. And when she does, she’s determined the night is going to end exactly like she’s always fantasized—with hot, sweaty sex!

I saw this book on a blog hop on the author's web site and knew I had to have it! Hurrah for the wonderful folks at Ellora's Cave for sending me a copy.

Halloween party anyone? Absolutely! I am so there. Especially this kind of party. Who wouldn't want to go to a costume party in the hopes of tracking down the one guy at the office that you have been lusting after and never seem to connect with? Sounds perfect right?  Well, there is much more in store for Tabitha when she discovers this costume party is a spanking party!

Finding her mystery man has never been more fun. Kind of a little like Goldilocks and the Three Bears done BDSM style, Tabby finds out that some men spank hard, some men have limp wrists and some men are well, just right. It may just not be who she is expecting.

Try this short read for a great lunch break or afternoon interlude. I know you will love it as much as I did. Paige Tyler has done a great job with this story-Halloween parties should always be this fun. Now I want to hear more about Tabby's librarian friend. She would be a great story too...

    Happy Halloween everyone!

I hate frogs, toads, actually I despise most amphibians. Honestly I think the feelings are mutual since I feel as if they go out of their way to accost me. Personally, I believe they have a vendetta against me because my dad ate frog legs but that is another long story with a few therapy sessions thrown in. I tell you this so you have an idea of where I'm coming from as I explain how I got the idea for Spells Gone Wild.  It's rainy season here in Florida and I happen to live within a stones throw of a swamp. Yes I hate frogs and live in adjacent to Green Swamp. Remember I mentioned therapy sessions, anyway. This humongous toad decided to hold me hostage. I mean that sucker planted itself square middle of my stoop at my front door. The bastard. So me being the ever forward thinking individual I am decided to go out the back entrance. I swear they (amphibians) must have formulated a plan the night before because hanging on my sliding glass door was the ugliest green frog this side of well, disgusting. Now the windows were an option if I had to get out of the house but I wasn't that desperate...yet.

My kids are in school and my husband is at work. There is no one around to do battle with these creatures except me. I snorted at myself for even thinking that and called my sister, who laughed before explaining she was no where near my home to help me. Did I mention that my fear has now become the butt of many jokes within my family. I had no choice as much as it put a bad taste in my mouth I had to call my mother- in- law. Now she and I get along sort of. We tend to stay out of each others way. Less bloodshed...don't ask. Feel free to judge me though I don't mind. Where was I...oh I close my eyes and swallow my pride. I dial her number. She answers on the second ring and with a pain developing behind my right eye I ask for a favor. Come get rid of the toad, please.

She acquiesced way to easily. I could hear the glee in her voice as she told me she'd be right over. So the woman that I shudder to owe a favor too, exits her car, walks over and stands next to the toad. I mean that big boy didn't budge and if he wasn't leaving I wasn't moving. I stare at the thing twisting my head between her and it and then it hits me like a brick. I mean I actually jumped up and down for a minute. The two most beautiful words to a writer next to the words "The End." I thought hot damn "What If", and a story was born. Oh yeah, she finally shoo'd  the stupid thing away too. Now I can't ignore her calls since she may need something but that's the price I'm willing to pay because I got one hell of a story out of my ordeal and eventually she will ask for something and all will balance out in my world. That is as long as the amphibians don't conspire against me again.

A Wicked and Wanton All Hallows Eve With Kiki Howell

Witch and Ghosts and Things That Go Bump In The Night *winks*

In my short, Midnight Showing, in the Naughty Nights Press Wicked and Wanton All Hallows Eve anthology, I have a witch trying to help a ghost cross-over.  This idea was inspired by a real life place, a haunted theatre in my town. The legend tells of a woman who killed herself in the theatre after seeing the man she loved with another woman. Rumor has it they can’t play scary movies in theatre two or the ghost messes with the working of the equipment. They have supposedly even had the film reel (when they still used them) catch fire. That was all I needed to hear…
But in writing this erotic horror  story, it got me to thinking about sex in horror movies. It used to be, ah back in the day, that most of them had a sex scene in them. I wondered why. Then I remembered that an author friend of mine did some research a while back on the connection between fear and sex. So, she lent me her post to read about a few of the theories she found. The first one her post spoke of about was this: the sex scenes are added so that when  a guy and a girl go on a date to see a scary movie, the boobs in the movie get the guy going and the scary stuff puts the girl in the guys arms, so to speak *winks* So, we are to believe the movie makers had this helpful intention for couples? Funny though, I’d actually heard that one before, so who knows, maybe there is some truth to it. But, as my friend said, I’d love to get into the mind of the first person to write a scary movie who decided to put sex in it and find out why he (okay or she) did it.

Further research (this my friend had links to, yeah) just got more interesting... check out this site[nsfw]  or this one I found the posts, well as my friend said in her original post, amusing, not a turn on, and some were downright gross. I did appreciate the comments though. Maybe some of the directors do need to see a psychologist. What I did get from this though was the desire to watch a horror flick or read a horror story curled up on my hubbies lap, then … well you know the then. .. *winks* Of course, the genres of horror and erotica in books is much, much, MUCH sexier, at least to me, but then this isn’t a debate about girls being emotional and men being visual.

So, since I proved nothing other than reaffirm that I do enjoy the mix of horror and erotica, let’s move onto information about the anthology.

A Wicked and Wanton All Hallows Eve Anthology Blurb:
A Halloween party turns into a very unusual night; a ghost whose sexual needs prevent her from passing over to the other side; a chance encounter at a mistaken location leads to many desires being fulfilled; and unusual alien and human sexual experience, in the name of research; and so much more in this kinky themed Halloween Anthology.

Domniar and Laria are no different from all the rest. Two wild Fae directly from the realm of Faerie, this saucy couple have donned their new ‘glamours’ for the evening and are ready for a little wicked passion, a bit of exhibitionism, and a whole lot of shameless lust. BL Morticia - I Dream Of Dalian

    Abby Hayes - Haunted Party

Alexa is going to her first ever Halloween Bash thrown each year by her new boss, a sexy skeptic who every guy wants to be his friend and every woman wants to screw.
But, she is more professional than that.
One poltergeist and one strange revelation later though, locked in a room with her boss and two male co-workers, fear turns to competition just like it always does in the board room. Alexa, Derrick, Ken and James, with battle wounds and all, fight for their lives in the sexiest way ever conceived. Once their sex games begin, this bitch of a ghost may never know what hit her.

    Gemma Parkes - Cassandra

Mia has no desire to go to the Halloween party being hosted by friends of her boyfriend. Reluctantly she tries to find a costume to wear by visiting a fancy dress shop. One outfit in particular has a startling affect on her and she is compelled to hire it. It also seems to have an amazing affect on her partner and it is some time before they are able to set off for the party.

Once there, Mia finds herself in the company of Cassandra, a beautiful, hypnotic girl dressed up as a witch’s cat. She is captivated by Cassandra’s mesmerizing bright green eyes and falls under her spell. Mia finds herself engaged in an intense ménage a trios that brings her both exquisite pleasure and frightening confusion.

    Sarah Bella - Triage

Charlotte is a normal girl, getting ready for a night out on the town with her girls. She dons her Halloween costume and hops into a taxi. After a miscommunication about the address of the club, she finds herself unwittingly on the upper, private floor of a BDSM club.

A voice over her shoulder gets –and keeps– her attention. When he tells her to call him Sir, she’s only too happy to comply. Sir helps Charlotte break down a few of her barriers and teaches her the basics of mental domination. Sir forcesCharlotte to tell him what she sees, in graphic language that good girls are taught not to use. She discovers that BDSM isn’t as scary as she always thought.
Their encounter ends in a dark hallway with her skirt around her waist and his cock buried inside her. Afterward, Sir is only too happy to take her to breakfast and discuss furthering their arrangement. The chance of a happily ever after with her Sir has Charlotte looping her arm through his and following him out the door to the club.

    Kim Faulks - Inamorata

Erica is woman in living in England whose life falls apart with the death of her parents and sister.

In a moment of loneliness David, her widowed brother-in-law, has sex with Erica and likes what she has to offer. Unbeknownst to Erica, David orchestrates to bring home strangers to bed her to earn food and money.

The vampire warrior Layre, kills David and changes Erica’s life forever in ways she never could have imagined

    Canth? Decided - Experiment IV

A female volunteer enters into a containment facility, under the watchful eye of scientists, in order to collect a semen sample from a man horribly mutated by a psychic/physical bond with an alien creature.

EXCERPT from Kiki Howell’s Midnight Showing:

With the click of the lock, the one separating her from the dark and nearly empty parking lot but trapping her inside an old theatre with a ghost, she suddenly wished she’d brought a sweater. Icy fingers did a tap dance down her spine as her husband grabbed her hand. Familiar shadows, Meredith questioned, blinking her eyes to right things on the back wall where two doors lead to the newly restored theaters.

“Man, I can’t believe this place,” her husband’s long time friend and investor, David exclaimed, moving in a circle. “I’m impressed with the end result buddy. You made good use of my bucks, here.” David came to face them again and slapped her husband, John, on the back.

“You were worried?” John huffed, putting his free hand on his heart, curling over his stomach and crouching a bit. “You wound me.”

“Yeah, yeah, asshole. Take a compliment.” David punched John in the shoulder. John stumbled, taking Meredith with him rather than releasing her hand.

She only shook her head and rolled her eyes at the theatrics.

“Okay.” John straightened up immediately, tugging on his shirt to put himself to rights. His face relaxed from his silly grin. “I did my best. After a thousand, pain in the ass, little issues, it is finally done. But, I think we enjoyed every minute of it. Didn’t we honey?”
“Sure,” Meredith raised one eyebrow at her husband. “I think I could have done without the small electrical fire in theatre two’s projector room. It was only a series of one small problem after another. John insisted the place, while getting all new chairs and equipment, state of the art, of course, maintained a lot of the old charm.”

“Most of the charm,” David interjected. “We are here to get rid of that pesky ghost, tonight. Good to keep the tale going, for the community, but secretly get rid of her before she starts another fire. Never believed in this sort of thing before, the bitch has been a nuisance we can no longer ignore.”

Meredith nodded, but admonished, “Could you be nice. I would like this to go smoothly.”

She could feel something wrong with the energy of her surroundings already. Granted it was a full moon just two days before Samhain, but still, she’d already tangled with the ghost in theater two. She swore that tonight the ghost knew what she had planned, and was definitely awaiting the challenge, if not laughing at her efforts.

Thanks for sharing this amazing anthology with us Kiki!

Mistress of Pain and Illusions by E R Pierce

    A Halloween Horror Short Story.

Vampires Aline and Meri walk into a bar in the Backbay of Boston and all hell breaks loose.

Contains erotic content as well as M/M, M/F/M and F/F sexual scenes. Blood, sex, magic and death. A perfect combination for Halloween.

When you have been starved and subjugated, there is nothing like a little lusty payback for some Halloween fun.

Vampires Aline and Meri have escaped their cruel master and are up for a little down time in the local bar. It gets pretty hot, heavy and just a little bloodthirsty. Okay, more like a lot...

The ladies set their sites on the patrons in the bar and divvy up the spoils of their conquest and get down and dirty for some bloody good fun. Sensual scenes, some gratuitous violence  and some dirty, kinky hot vampire sex await in this short lunchtime read.

This piece was very dark with lots of gritty and sexy overtones. It was not a fluffy vamp read-be ready for some love em and eat em action. Lol. Great fun for those who love a bit of the dark side. For this one, you don't need cookies when you have these two lusty vamp girls tag teaming it.

The imagery was all there, complete with sultry f/f action, fierce m/m and lots of m/f to go around. Truly there is something for all in this dark and edgy romp.

There is a hot bonus story that you won't want to miss as well...Happy Halloween everyone!

    My Bio:

I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I wrote my first story when I was in seventh grade--A first person account of an entire summer. I went through a massive teen angst poetry phase, and I have notebooks and binders filled with prose.
Over a year ago, Ceithin and Aurelia showed up in my head. They yapped incessantly, demanding I sit and tell their story. After a month or two of being woken up with harsh whispers, I started writing. They haven't stopped, and in fact, brought friends. Now my head is filled with stories, scenes, snippets and crazy people.
Cue Law and Order music here: dun, dun.
    These are their stories.
I write with emotion, occasionally a temper and I let my words flow free. I dabble in paranormal, contemporary romance, erotic fiction and darker urban fantasy.
Oh, and hey... I'm a Virgo.

The Good Sister: A Visit With London Saint James

Thanks so much for having me on your blog, Erzabet to spotlight my erotic contemporary series, The Good Sister!

The Good Sister (part one) is the first of a two-book erotic contemporary series, and has been a labor of love to write. Inspiration to write, for me anyway, comes from so many different things. A place, a picture, a song, a poem, and even quotes. The idea for The Good Sister came from a quote, and blossomed into a two book series. Here’s the quote that started it all:
We always long for the forbidden things, and desire what is denied us.
    ~Francois Rabelais~
The Good Sister Part One Blurb:
Trinity Lane Winslow feared everything and lived her life vicariously through others. She dreamed of the impossible, yearning to be the kind of woman men desired—especially Reid Addison.
Reid Addison feared nothing, except how the mousey little blonde daughter of his housekeeper made him feel.  Even though Trinity Winslow wasn’t his type, there was something intriguing about her.
Lord Ashton Archer lived a fairy tale life with property all over the world, was heir to a ducal dynasty, and had women fawning all over him. Anything a man could want, he obtained by the snap of his fingers.
By a twist of fate the three of them find their way into the same illicit world of the infamous Madam Jacqueline Claudette Rousseau. But will they find what each of them truly desires? Or will they always long for the forbidden?
Be Warned: Voyeurism, anal sex, rimming, spanking, bondage, multiple partners.
The Good Sister Part One Excerpt:
Strong hands wrapped around the tops of my arms, pulling my body back into a muscular chest.
“Why do you haunt me?” he whispered against my ear.
Goose bumps traversed my skin. My body, my reactions would give me away. I must find a way not to react to Reid.
“Please, speak to me,” Reid urged, “I need to hear your voice for my own sanity.”
I turned the doorknob, took Reid by the hand, and led him into my room. I turned off the lights, leaving us in dimness. The fire was low, no longer raging, but I would need to be careful. If I moved him to the settee by the dressing area there would be very little light, and he would not be able to fully see me. With his hand in mine, I took Reid to the settee. I pressed upon his chest, urging him to sit. I placed my fingertip to his lips, indicating not to speak. Reid sat. I unbuttoned his shirt one button at a time.
“There is something about you which haunts me, calls to me, makes me think—” I stopped him with my lips.
I felt his fingers on the back of my neck, urging me to stay. I pulled back, took his hand, turned it palm up, and with my index finger I wrote:  NO.
“Please, tell me who you are?”
I closed my small hand over his, giving him my final answer.
Ashton bulldozed through my thoughts. Something about this made me feel guilty, but I need not be guilty. I’d come here for Reid. All of this was for Reid.
Reid shrugged out of his shirt. I skimmed my hands over his chest then over his rippled stomach without reservation or hesitation. He was my goal, my focus, what I wanted, what I had always wanted. My hands moved to the buttons on his jeans. I popped the first button and ran my fingertips over the strength of his stomach once more, circling his navel. His stomach muscles responded with a flexing jerk.
Reid placed his nose to my hair and sniffed. I made it through the button fly of his jeans, and slipped my hand inside the denim to feel Reid iron hard beneath my hand. I stroked him, squeezed him, took in every inch of him. Reid groaned. I gripped at his pants, pulling.
Reid stood up, and removed his pants. Once they were gone he sat back down. I fell to my knees, at his feet, slid up between his legs, grasped his hard cock in my hand, and placed a kiss to the tip of him.
        “Shit,” he muttered.
I lifted my hand. He quieted. I kissed his cock, and stroked his balls, but I knew he wanted hard and fast. I remembered how he pleasured himself in the shower. How he fucked Breeze. Rough. I had to be prepared to give him what he needed. It would be nothing like Ashton. I thought about Ashton again, but I plucked Ashton from my thoughts. Reid was why I’d come to France. Reid was who I desired. I couldn’t desire two men, could I? But something about Ashton was different. No, I cannot have feelings for Ashton. I mouthed the ridge of Reid’s broad head.
Reid snapped. He thrust his hips, thrusting his cock deep, grabbing at the back of my head, pushing my head down upon him, entangling his fingers into my hair, fisting.
I didn’t struggle. I breathed through my nose, relaxed my throat.
“Fuck,” he muttered. He let loose of my head.
Reid got up from the settee, grabbed his shirt then stopped. He was silent for a long moment. I watched as he pulled on his jeans, securing them. He walked to the door. In the dim light I saw him run his fingers through his hair, stopping to scrub the back of his neck. He gripped his shirt in the other hand. I wondered if I should go to him. I stood, walked to him, and reached out. I placed my hand to his muscled back.
“I’m sorry,” he said in a whisper.

The Good Sister Part Two Excerpt:
The ride back to the chateau was brief, only because I curled up on Ashton and fell asleep. I was surprised when he woke me with the news we had arrived, nonetheless happy to feel his lips pressed firmly upon mine. When the kiss became a little more heated, and I sucked his tongue into my mouth, our exit from the car waited.
“Ashton, we should get out of the car because if we continue I may do naughty things.”
Ashton guffawed. “Yes, I am in agreement, my dove. And by the by, you need to button your shirt.”
“And you need to zip your pants.”
Clothes straightened, breath regained, and thoughts cleared, we left the confines of the car. When we walked through the door of the chateau, everyone came to meet us. That in itself wasn’t unusual, but what was unusual was the fact everyone seemed to be on edge.
“Welcome back, my petit,” Jacqueline greeted, giving me a peck on the cheek.
“What’s going on?” I asked. “Why is everyone looking like someone died?”
“Reid is here,” Breeze confessed in a rush, blurting out the words. “He’s been on a rant.”
As if a tornado called forth on cue, Reid stormed into the foyer.
“Fuck!” he exclaimed, glaring at me. “Do you know how worried I have been about you? I knew Archer was coming, but you never said anything about leaving with him.”
“Reid,” Alec, Jacqueline’s muscle and right hand man, said in his warning voice. “You will calm your voice and control your anger while speaking with Trinity, or I will throw you out.”
Ashton stepped in front of me.
“Reid,” he said, and to my surprise he was using a polite tone. “I understand how you might worry for Trinity. However, I can assure you, I would never allow any harm to befall her.”
         Reid’s eyes flickered fury.
“Archer.” Reid’s voice sounded as though acid was on his tongue. “I really could care less what you have to say.”
“Stop it!” I said. I huffed around Ashton, feet planted firmly. “Reid, you have no claim over me nor do you have any say in who I spend my time with or where I go.”
Reid glared at me for a moment then the glare changed to anger apparent as his features turned to stone. His silver eyes narrowed. Ashton held on to my waist, as if he were ready to snatch me back and pummel Reid if necessary.
“Trinity,” Reid said through clenched jaw. “Do you want to tell me something?”
“No,” I said, lifting the set of my chin.
“So you don’t want to tell me why you are wearing a fucking rock on your hand?”
Immediately, everyone seemed to stare at my hand.
“Well...” Ashton smiled. “We were going to make a formal announcement, but since Addison is set on making a scene,” Ashton said, taking hold of my hand. “I have asked Trinity to marry me, and she has accepted my proposal.”
A cacophony of noise followed. Gleeful laughter from all my sisters could be heard. Sincere congratulations from Alec. A hitching breath from Jacqueline, and a quite loud, “Fucking hell, you have got to be pulling my dick!” from Reid.
         I snapped.
“Reid, I swear. You may be my friend, but I want to punch you in the face!”
         Ashton chuckled.
“Trinity,” Reid muttered, looking almost befuddled. “Fucking shit!” he yelled.
He balled up his fist before he threw up his hands. Reid turned and stormed past everyone, cussing all the way out the front door before he slammed it with a thundering shake.
Ashton smiled his wicked smile, gazing at me. “That went rather well,” he said with a tone of not quite joking.

    Author London Saint James BIO
London wrote her first short story in the second grade.  Her teacher informed her parents London had a big imagination, but having a big imagination wasn’t necessarily a good thing as far as he was concerned.  Without watering that seed of imagination, London placed her vivid characters, her childhood stories, along with her imagination on the shelf, where they would wither for a while.  At the urging of her eighth grade English teacher, London pulled her imagination off that shelf and wrote her second short story.  To no surprise, it was a love story which was inspired by a song.  With encouragement, London began to write once again.  She fell head over heels in love with writing, the power of words and the journey we all take when we read a great story.  Then as life does it moves on, so yet again London placed her imagination on the shelf to wither for a while.  She needed to do the “sensible thing.”
In doing the sensible thing London earned a degree in Psychology.  While in college she traversed into writing once more, was encouraged by a couple of professors to pursue that endeavor, and wrote.  In doing so, she lit that spark of imagination which she thought was long dead.
London writes erotic romance, from sweet to downright naughty.  She is an author for Evernight Publishing and a member of the Romance Writers of America as well as a member of Passionate Ink.
